How to make a Floating menu with Buttonizer?

Floating action buttons, sticky buttons, floating menus… you’ve probably seen them on plenty of websites. Why should you use a floating menu on your website, and how do you make different floating menu designs? In this article, I’ll explain why they work and how to build your own with Buttonizer.

Why use a floating menu?

A floating menu like Buttonizer makes conversions happen. Visitors are drawn to a floating menu… it’s eye-catching, and people like the interactivity of clicking on buttons. Floating menus are easy to use while offering quick navigation. If a customer wants to reach you, searching for a way to do so can be a lot of work. Life is busy so people want a quick response, and many customers will leave your website without a quick and easy way to reach help.

Sometimes a customer will just want to leave a message and continue with their day.  A floating menu offers the quickest way to do so without spending time searching for the correct contact information. The average time to get a response on an email is 9 hours, but sometimes it takes companies hours or days to respond.  Some customers will be looking for more immediate help. The average response time through quicker venues like text messaging is 90 seconds. If a client has an urgent question, they are most likely to use something that offers an immediate response, like a WhatsApp call or a chat message.  Floating menus let you provide easy options for all types of visitors, from people who want to leave a quick message and move on to those who are looking for a convenient way to reach in-depth help.

Floating menus aren’t just for contact options. You can also make a download button, social share and follow buttons, and much more.  Floating menus are very small, so they will fit any website perfectly. Buttonizer will let you quickly design a floating menu yourself in an easy to use dashboard. You can easily create a multi-tasking tool for your visitors that will get their attention quicker.

Different menu styles

Buttonizer provides you with a lot of choices. You can choose from a huge library of button icons, use images instead of icons, customize colors, pick different labeling styles and fonts, and much more. You can also change the menu entrance style, like fading in, a corner circle layout, popping in one by one, and many more.  Try them all out and choose the menu that fits the design of your website best!

Add an animation to increase the conversion rate

With Buttonizer you can add an animation to your menu button. Animations are a great way to draw even more attention to your button. There are several different options, and you can change the repeat count of the animation movement. Test them all and choose the animation that you like most!

How to Create a Button Menu

Getting started is easy, just click on “My first button” and select “Multiple buttons”.   You will then be able to choose from a variety of ways the menu will open up when the menu button is clicked.

Choose from dozens of different button types to add to your menu.  Each individual button can be configured with different icons, label styles, colors, shapes, and more.
